The International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG) is a non-profit, member governed organization that endorses two types of standard methodology for software sizing; Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Software Non-functional Assessment Process (SNAP). IFPUG serves to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas for improved software measurement techniques and seeks to provide a composite environment that stimulates the personal and professional development of its members. CMA Association Management (CMA), is the company that manages membership, governance, financial oversight, and marketing for professional associations across the globe. CMA is committed to providing the highest level of customer service for associations, meeting the highest nonprofit management standards and is accredited by the AMC Institute (AMCI). CMA collects and manages data on behalf of IFPUG. This data includes member names, contact information (email addresses, phone numbers and mailing addresses), job title, company name, and membership status. This data is collected to facilitate the business of the association—e.g. maintaining membership lists, processing membership renewals, hosting conferences, member communications, providing continuing educational opportunities for members and more. IFPUG / CMA may collect, record and analyze information of visitors to the IFPUG website. CMA may record your IP address, use cookies and collect and process any personal data you voluntarily enter into website forms (e.g. signing up for information or for an event). CMA gathers data about visits to the IFPUG website, including number of visitors and visits, geo-location data, length of time spent on the site and pages clicked. Payment information, such as credit card numbers, (e.g. for an association membership or events) is not stored by CMA and is promptly deleted after the transaction completes. IFPUG /CMA does not sell data to third parties for advertising or any other purpose. CMA will only distribute your personal information with your prior consent or when it is legally required by applicable authorities. Data is stored on secure servers and may be deleted at any time, per an association member’s request. In the event of a data breach, CMA will inform impacted parties within 72 hours.
